ABBIE JONES JOINES LEXINGTON OFFICE

LEXINGTON KY, OCTOBER 12, 2009:  Abbie Jones, PE, joined the Lexington Office of Nesbitt Engineering, Inc., as part of their Civil Engineering Department.  Abbie received a BS in Civil Engineering from Tennessee Technological University.  She holds multiple registrations: Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Kentucky, Georgia and Texas, a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM), a Level II Erosion Professional (CPESC), and a Land Surveyor in Training (LSIT).  Most recently she worked as City Engineer and Floodplain Administrator for the City of Hurst, TX (pop. 38,000).  Her work has appeared in numerous professional publications and she was named Georgia Young Engineer of the Year in 2005.

With offices in Lexington, Hazard and Prestonsburg, NESBITT provides engineering consulting services in a broad range of disciplines including solid waste management, civil engineering, mining engineering, oil and gas consulting, surveying and environmental sciences.
